Do you know what it is like to be mother of 3 young girls? I am sure some of you do! Princess this, princess that, change my outfit to a princess dress, change my clothes again! Mom, I want makeup! Mom, brush my hair! Mom, don’t brush my hair. You get the picture. My poor husband has to deal with so many different girls, with so many different moods and hormones!
One of the recent perks of being the Mom of 3 princesses, has been to watch the Disney movie “Tangled”, oh…like 32 times, but who’s counting? While in between helping the “princesses” with something, I heard in the back ground the song “I’ve Got a Dream!” It made me actually STOP and listen to the lyrics. They are pretty silly and definitely made me smile. It also made me think for a bit…If they have have a dream…do I have have a dream? Can I verbalize that dream? How specific can I be about my Dream? I am not saying I have figured mine out completely in a way I could write about it…but I’ll work on it!
The Songs Lyrics say:
She’s got a dream
He’s got a dream
They’ve got a dream
We’ve got a dream
So our differences ain’t really that extreme
We’re one big team
Call us brutal
And grotesquely optimistic
’cause way down deep inside we’ve got a dream
So no matter where you are coming from, who you are or what you have experienced…DREAMS ARE FREE!
