Independence and Freedom are at the core of what makes America great.
It was this hope and vision for a country that would allow people to choose to better themselves; that by their efforts they could experience all that was ever assumed by the kings and queens and nobility of their native countries. To own land and property, to have opportunity, to speak their mind and not be imprisoned, to teach their family as they desired and demonstrate their faith as they felt, to be free of fear and scarcity.
In the United States of America, we have been given the freedom to build a life for ourselves not dictated by others. For most of the earth’s population since the beginning of man, such opportunities were limited. In America, we have opportunities waiting for us at every corner. Though we are granted the most freedoms ever experienced by any country in the world, do we go around with a mindset of freedom and gratitude for it, or a mindset of bondage, scarcity and anger at the state of our life?
I choose to declare my independence from those thought patterns that keep me from experiencing the good that is waiting for me. I hope you will make the same choice this Independence Day as well, to be free of all that is not in your best interest and highest good. Listen to your intuition and you will know what the next step is to embrace this kind of freedom of mind and spirit.
